This is a Japanese-language magazine about anime.

One of the top monthly anime magazines, Newtype features color spreads on several of the season’s latest anime shows, plus articles on other ongoing anime series, broadcast schedules, interviews, news on upcoming CD and DVD releases, and ads for anime-related goodies. This issue spotlights Code Geass R2, Gundam 00, Clannad, several new anime starting this spring, and the art of Bamboo Blade; other anime covered include Minamike: Okawari, Spice and Wolf, Rental Magica, Persona: Trinity Soul, Mai Hime 0: S.ifr, Soul Eater, Shakugan No Shana II, and more.
